AMTD Financial Planning Limited (AMTD)
is an independent financial planner that offers clients
comprehensive financial solutions. AMTD wanted to increase
its competitive advantage by enhancing its telemarketing
sales productivity and potential through the deployment
of a highly empowered call center system. It needed to
replace its traditional PBX system with an advanced, IP-ready
Predictive Dialing System which was reliable, flexible
and scalable, and would enable it to screen non-productive
calls.
Avaya was selected after rigorous testing and evaluation
of different vendors’ telephony features. The Avaya
solution included Avaya S8700 Media Server, Avaya G650
Media Gateway, Avaya Digital Phonesets 6402/6408D, Avaya
Voice Mailbox (IALX), Avaya Predictive Dialing System,
and Avaya Basic Call Management System.
The Avaya solution was quickly implemented and very
easy to use - users only required one day’s training
to learn to use it. The IP-ready infrastructure is highly
scalable, which ensured it can readily support future
expansion by AMTD. It also greatly reduced costs of
networking multiple, remote call centers. The PDS voice
detection maximizes live voice connections for AMTD’s
telemarketing sales by eliminating up to 97.6% of busy
signals, answering machines, voice mail, unanswered
calls, pagers, faxes, modems, and operator-intercepted
calls. The center can handle 40,000 calls per day, which
is 70% more than before. |
