The Fullerton Hotel was looking for new ways to: raise its standards, increase manpower in key operation areas, upgrade existing technology to enhance call management and network operations, as well as improve quality of service.

The Fullerton Hotel had an existing Avaya DEFINITY® Communications Server that they chose to upgrade to Avaya Communication Manager Release 2.2 running on an Avaya S8700 Media Server and Avaya G650 Media Gateways.

With the implementation of the Avaya solution, The Fullerton Hotel now has a scalable and reliable solution. The Avaya S8700 Media Server has a common software base that enables optimal integration into existing networks, thus easing upgrades. Its scalability also provides the hotel with unlimited growth options. With redundancy options, the solution provides high availability support, which means that the system is more stable. Engineers can also trouble shoot remotely without having to be physically at the hotel premises to resolve issues. This improved productivity has decreased downtime suffered by hotel guests and employees.
