Founded in 1993 Moving Menus, www.movingmenus.com.au , is Australia’s largest restaurant delivery service. They publish and distribute over 1.2 million menu books through Sydney and Melbourne annually. They deliver hundreds of meals nightly for some 500 restaurants of every cuisine within one hour to residential, corporate and hotel customers.

Moving Menus has deployed the Avaya IP Office platform. The system provides an IP VPN between Sydney and Melbourne operations. The company has some 40 endpoints. Thus some 700 nightly calls from Sydney are routed to Melbourne’s call center and are recognized as local calls. Inbound call expenses have been reduced by 80-90%. Customers from Sydney continue to incur only local charges. Call monitoring and reporting also allows call center management to monitor efficiency and design work practices. The customer especially values the all in one solution with voicemail, auto attendant, VPN tunneling and broadband and wireless access. The implementation was done by BusinessPartner, GlobalTalk.
